Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays

I'm completely indifferent about Elvis. I like some songs, but I don't really get the Graceland hype and don't get me started on Elvis impersonators (creepy!). This movie was just fine.

via Hallmark Channel
Harper (Kaitlin Doubleday) returns home to Memphis for Christmas after missing several years of holidays working in Europe. Harper's original plan was to stay with her sister and her family while she awaits word on whether she got another job oversees. Sitting around isn't Harper's style though, so she ends up taking a temporary position working at Graceland, where she worked in high school. While at Graceland she meets Owen (Adrian Grenier), a single dad with 3 kids who also runs a seemingly uber-successful tech company. After meeting once, Owen asks Harper if she'd be interested in nannying for his kids and living in his guest house. Obviously, the kids and Harper fall in love with each other and Harper shows Owen how to slow down and enjoy Christmas and his family. Owen and Harper combine and co-host his company's holiday party and her Graceland exhibit.

Also, Harper and the kids sing a lot?

Oh, travel stickers on a pristine suitcase. We got a frequent flyer over here.

Do y'all not have snow plows?

Oh, hello stereotypical dad can't handle his own kids by himself nonsense.

Oooooffff... Ms. Priscilla Presley, you should maybe ease up on the plastic surgery.

Ummm... should those 2 young girls be off on their own in a public space?

"Kids are kind of my specialty." That's a totally normal thing that people who are good with kids say.

So Harper's being relocated to the couch in favor of her sister's visiting in-laws. The only logical solution to this space problem is to agree to nanny the stranger's kids and live in his guest house.

There is literally nothing wrong with a schedule.

Again with the carry-on for a trip of indeterminate length. Can't Hallmark invest in a few larger size suitcase props?

She's really hung up on this tablet schedule for someone whose known this family for all of 10 minutes.

I'm going to start referring to sweet people as "total marshmallows" from now on.

This... is very musical. Like the kids and Harper keep singing at us. For no reason?

Weirdly over-intimate handshake followed by dropping in he has a "fancy Christmas party" to go to. It's like he's trying to be Vincent Chase being a rich guy. Someone get this guy a monocle.

Now they're decorating Priscilla's tree with her? I'm not sure what's happening.

Party time! I thought Harper would have been offered a full-time position at Graceland by now.

Uh oh. The guest singer is running late so Harper is going to step in to sing with the kids. This is... painful.

Oh, it's Chase Bryant! In the commercials, I actually thought it was Tyler Hynes. Chase got on stage and immediately took a break?

Chase is singing a kind of slow, very low energy Blue Christmas now. I'm not sure what the characters are hearing, but their dancing tempo certainly does not match the song.

Adrian Grenier does not age.

Obviouslyyyy Harper turns down the London job to stay with the man she's known for 5 days.

Did that movie just sort of... end? Like in a weird spot?
